OUR VISION he vision is that participants will leave the conference with a renewed mind, body and spirit and empowered with an agenda for action on behalf of South Asian women, their families and their communities.
GOALS:
Educate and empower south asian women to achieve excellence and embrace the challenges of the 21st century by advocacy, supportive environments, role models and mentors. Educate new comers and the public about what we value and articulate concerns dealing with South Asian history and culture. Address issues that impact the educational development of Canadian south asian children and adolescents. Understand the complexity of Canadian asian community problems and develop culturally competent efforts to solve these problems. Increase the self-efficacy of Canadian Asian women as agents of change in the educational, entrepreneurial, and political arenas. Address the holistic (mind, body and spirit) needs of Canadian South Asian daughters, Sisters, mothers and wives.
The South Asian WBN meeting is hosted by InkField Media Group. This monthly event is a unique opportunity to build connections, enhance collaboration and embody the values of business-minded women in the community.
